I often get asked, "Where did the name Annalynn's come from?" ...

 

Well, growing up, I was the youngest of 6m kids. Whenever my daddy would call me, he would go through my sister's name and end with Anna. Finally, he would just start calling me Anna, and my middle name is Lynn.  Thus, the name AnnaLynn.

 

The second most asked question is, "What made you want to open a boutique?"...

 

 

Well, I have been a nurse for about 20 years and still work some. But during the first part of 2023 our Pastor began teaching that we should "Get Something In Our Lives God Can Bless." I prayed and prayed about what I could do.  I began looking for another job, even started working on getting my multi-state nursing license, but doors just weren't opening, and I still haven't received my license.  So, when praying I asked myself, "If I could do anything I wanted what would I do?" I thought, "Lord, I would like to open a store offering modest clothing, gifts, and accessories."

Well, I put it on the back burner and kept applying for new jobs.  I asked a friend who had previously had a clothing store about her start and what I would have to do... But it was a couple of months before I did anything.  My husband and I talked about it, prayed about it, and waited.  Then God just began putting people in our lives to give advice and encouragement!  Then I went to my Pastor and told him where we felt God was directing us and he agreed and gave encouragement.  So, we decided to start  AnnaLynn's Boutique.
